I feel 80% better after only 2 months!

It is not easy to find a Occupational Therapist who specializes in hand therapy let alone a good one.  Came here recommended by my naturopath because I never knew that my years of hand/ wrist pain was not normal but finally decided to get it checked it.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Hand Therapy Therapist, so I was pleasantly surprised. Danielle is a kind, chill, experienced occupational hand therapist. She has an uncanny skill of finding out which of the small muscles in my hand or wrist muscles are causing me pain.  She then uses manual therapy to address the root issues. Danielle also gives unique exercises that target the hand muscles that I never seen or heard of.

Now after two months, I feel 80% better already.  

I highly recommend her as she is experienced, skilled, knowledgeable, chill and friendly. (part of me is reluctant to write this review because I don’t want to have difficulty booking my appointment) but I hope to help others by writing this review.

Btw if you have bad experience with front desk people, rest assured that you won’t get that here. Her front desk manager is kind and professional. She works as best to accommodate your scheduling needs. They are responsible and I feel good with their professional care.

The best for hand therapy!

I had wrist surgery before Thanksgiving and was referred to Danielle for hand therapy after surgery. Danielle was even able to see me the day after my surgery to make sure I was comfortable before the holiday and long weekend. She took the time to carefully change my dressing and made me a much better splint to wear. The splint has been easy to take on and off, and does not get in the way when I am working; but most importantly, it’s comfortable!! Danielle was thorough in answering all my questions, and even took the time to explain what I should expect in terms of recovery after my surgery. She sent me home with a home exercise program and even provided some putty to help with my strengthening. Out of all the hand therapists I’ve seen over the years, there’s really been no one like Danielle! She definitely exceeds any expectations for what a great hand therapist should be, and I’m sure she’ll only keep raising the bar as she continues treating patients!  If you need hand therapy, Danielle is the one to go to!

Friendly, knowledgeable & highly qualified!

I highly recommend Danielle if you need any hand or arm therapy. I fell on May 19 and broke my arm and a bone in my elbow. Two weeks later I started therapy 2 days a week with Danielle. She is very friendly, competent, knowledgeable, highly qualified, and in tune to what you need for your specific injury. You cannot go wrong choosing Danielle for your therapist! She is great!

She provides an individualized plan for your recovery!

When I first met Danielle, I was impressed with her knowledge and confidence in assessing my case making me aware of my needs and her plan of treatment. She was able to create and make personalized braces for my pinky finger so I could still have movement, practice yoga and sleep without pain. She truly cares about her patients and is willing to connect with doctors and other professionals in order to provide the best treatment. The fact that she truly listened to me and my unique needs and was willing to adapt the treatment according my specific needs was crucial to my recovery after surgery.

I highly recommend Danielle to anyone who needs an OT or hand therapy. She sees her clients in a holistic way and is willing to go above and beyond in order to support recovery and healing.

I’m beyond grateful for her and all the healing she brought into my life! She ended up taking care of our whole family and we are all huge fans of her!

Professional, knowledgeable & caring!

In 2021 – 2022 I had two hand surgeries to replace thumb joints and repair carpel tunnel in each hand. I had an accomplished surgeon, however, the best thing he did was refer me to Danielle Wojtkiewicz at Cascade Hand Therapy for PT. I spent many months in office with Danielle and she was always professional and highly educated in all issues pertaining to the hands, including surgical procedures. She was informative and explained the purpose of various treatments and pushed me just enough to see progress quickly, while still being gentle and compassionate. I experienced very little post op pain during PT and with her expert treatment and guidance I have a very successful outcome, regaining full function and flexibility in both hands. Additionally, I had quite a bit of raised scarring and Danielle was able to nearly eliminate the scars though massage and manipulation. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you’re a past 60 retiree (like myself), recovering from an injury or a high level athlete with hand issues, Danielle will be your best resource for Physical Therapy.
