Meet Danielle

Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Certified Hand Therapist and Founder at Cascade Hand Therapy, Danielle has been practicing since 2014. Her education includes a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Louis, School of Medicine and her Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from University of St. Augustine.

Her passion is treating upper extremity injuries & impairment as she excels in creating an individualized, science-based care plan to ensure best possible outcomes and success rates for clients. Her exceptional skillset and talent for rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers with special interest in and skilled fabrication of low-profile, custom orthoses. Danielle is renowned for treating peripheral nerve injuries, tendon repairs & transfers and the injured athlete. She enjoys research, teaching, mentoring and team leadership. When Danielle is not working, which is rare, she can be found cycling at Paradise – a stunning area at approximately 5400 feet on the south slope of Mount Rainier in Mount Rainier National Park, in Washington state. Hiking this beautiful area which lies on the border of Pierce and Lewis counties was the inspiration behind naming the practice. Danielle loves outdoor activities and lives a healthy lifestyle. She understands the importance of whole person care as it relates to optimally functioning upper extremities!
